ON Saturday the Frank Pietersen Music Centre will be presenting their annual Christmas concert, the Christmas Spectacular, at the Paarl Police College Auditorium at 18:30.
The Christmas concert will feature the music centre’s orchestras, ensembles and choirs. Tickets are R20 and can be purchased at the music centre office or at Musik-lood.
The Children’s Choir, the Youth Choir and the Adult Choir as well as vocal soloists of the singing department will be performing.
The Senior Strings, the Brass Ensemble and the Youth Orchestra as well as a massed combined orchestra will add to the festive Christmas atmosphere.
There will also be a few non-Christmas items in the program, one of which will feature our own Frank Pietersen Three Tenors, Roy Ferguson, Brent Reynolds and Roberto Meyer who will be accompanied by the Youth Choir in “O Sole mio”.
As a fundraiser, the music centre will be selling Steak Braai and Chips ( R45), Chicken Potjie (R25) and Boereworsrolls (R10). These need to be ordered beforehand and will be ready and can be enjoyed from 16:00 at the Police College Lapa. Order at the music centre office at 021-872-2123/4.
