FROM 4 to 5 December, Lady Grey Street in Paarl will once again be the scene of the annual festival of lights.
At this year’s Drakenstein Festival of Lights there will be something for every-one’s taste. Not only will there be good music, but also stalls and carnival rides for the young at heart.
The beatboxing George, runner-up from the TV show SA’s Got Talent, wil share his talent with Paarlites on Friday 4 December at 21:30. Also in the line-up are artists like The Next Step, Nadia Herbst, Jah-Logo, Unstoppable Dance Group, Roberto Mayor and many more.
At 21:00 the Mayor, Charmaine Manuel, will switch on the lights.
On Saturday 5 December, Jamali will take to the stage AT 21:30. Also on the programme are Public Opinion, BrownSuga, Intsikelelo, Kim-Lee Cornelissen, Zinzi Carolissen, Aneesha Retief and Lawrence Adams. Carols by Candlelight will be held on Sunday 6 December from 19:00 (take your own chair). Various artists will also peform in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa.
