CELEBRATE summer with a picnic concert at Nederburg on Sunday 29 November at 17:00 with the sound of Sterling EQ.
Make yourself at home under the trees in front of the historic Manor House, with the majestic Drakenstein Mountains as your backdrop, and let the live performance of Sterling EQ, one of South Africa’s most popular bands, captivate you with its spectacular display of talent.
Band members are award-winning instrumentalists, including electric flautist Carina Bruwer, electric violinist Eriel Huang, electric violinist, viola player Magdalene Minnaar and electric cellist Ariella Caira.
Their repertoire covers classical works and well-known favourites, incorporating elements of contemporary music.
Tickets for the concert are available at R60 each. For the price of R150 you can have not only a ticket, but also a single serving picnic platter, brimming with freshly-baked bread, a selection of cheeses, cold meats, pâté, pasta, salads and preserves. Vegetarian platters are also available. Children under 12 are admitted free (picnic platters for children are available at R40 each).Picnic platters must be ordered at least two days before the concert. Nederburg wine, coffee and cold drinks will be for sale. You can bring along your own picnic nibbles, if you prefer. For extra comfort, bring your own chairs, picnic blankets and umbrellas.
