ON Friday and Saturday, Lady Grey Street in Paarl will once again be the scene of the annual festival of lights.
At this year’s Drakenstein Festival of Lights there will be something for every-one’s taste. There will be good music, stalls and carnival rides.
The beatboxing George, runner-up from the TV show SA’s Got Talent, wil perform on Friday. Also in the line-up are artists like The Next Step, Nadia Herbst, Roberto Mayor and many more.
At 21:00 the Mayor, Charmaine Manuel, will switch on the lights.
On Saturday Jamali will take to the stage. Some of the other artist that will perform are Public Opinion, BrownSuga, Intsikelelo and Lawrence Adams. Carols by Candlelight will be held on Sunday from 19:00 (take your own chair).
