Congratulations to Paarl’s music centre

I WOULD like to congratulate the Frank Pietersen Music Centre for their phenomenal performance in the town hall on 19 and 20 August. ”The song for Mandela” was amazing.
A special thanks to the Pietersen family, Dr Alun Francis and family and also the staff of the music centre, who worked so diligently to make these concerts such a huge success.
Nowhere in the world would our children, the musicians of the future, receive so much exposure. I hope that they appreciate all the sacrifices that had been made so that they could reap the benefit thereof.
Not only has excellent tuition been provided, but they also received free meals and transport with each rehearsal.
I don’t think that there is another institution in this country that would do so much for their learners. You guys are wonderful!
Last but not least I would like to say that I am proud of my budding musicians at FPMC.
May the Centre grow from strength to strength and just like Mandela, Dr Alun Francis and the Pietersen family, will live for all time.
