ATHLETICS
A Technical Officials Course (ASA Level 1) will take place under the auspices of Boland Athletics and Boland Schools, at Swartland High School in Malmesbury on 15 and 16 January. The ASA Level 1 Technical Officials Course forms part of the Boland Athletics Education and Outreach Programme for 2010. CYCLING
* The Paarl MTB Downhill race will take place on Sunday, from 11:00, at the Taalmonument. Enter at the course on Saturday (12:00-15:00) and Sunday (09:00-10:30). Contact Stefan Garlicki on 082-945-1883.
* Dirtopia will be presenting the eighth annual 24Hour team relay mountain-bike event at Wiesenhof Game Reserve from 12:00 on Saturday 23 January 2010. Entries close 18 January. ALBIONS RUGBYKLUB
Albions Rugbyklub se spelers is reeds aan die skaaf vir die 2010 rugbyseisoen, en oefen op Dinsdae en Donderdae om 18:00 op die Daljosafat-sportvelde. Allandale Rugbyklub het reeds begin met hul voorseisoense oefeninge. Die klub oefen Dinsdae en Donderdae om 18:30. Kontak 021-864-8059.
VIOLETS RUGBYKLUB
Violets Rugbyklub het reeds begin met voorseisoense oefeninge vir die nuwe seisoen. Oefeninge geskied Maandae tot Donderdae by die velde van Paulus Joubert Sekondêr om 18:00. Die klub speel reeds hul eerste vriendskaplike wedstryd op 6 Maart teen Paarl Rangers, waarna hulle tydens ’n oefenkamp op 13 Maart ’n wedstryd teen La Motte Rugbyklub gaan speel. Klubs wat belang stel om op 20 en 27 Maart vriendskaplike wedstryde teen Violets te speel, kan 079-767-6046 of 082-228-0470 kontak. Violets hou op 18 Januarie sy algemene jaarvergadering te Bethel Congregational Kerk om 19:00. Alle bestuurslede en spelers moet teenwoordig wees.
