Drakenstein Games Club celebrates

ON 7 February Groot Drakenstein Games Club will celebrate its 50th Six-a-Side cricket tournament. The club wish to include all the legendary clubs from the past on this great occasion and have decided to ask certain personalities who have been associated with the club over the years to select what can loosely be termed regional sides, consisting fairly of previous participants. Two non-regional sides will be selected but they will have guest players and it is hoped that within the selections those sides will invite players of great ability. To celebrate, the Groot Drakenstein Games Club will have a function at the club on Friday 5 February to which will be invited notable personalities who have graced this tournament.
