Car show at school carnival

THE carnival of Paulus Joubert High School will be held on 23 and 24 September. There will be live artists, merry-go-rounds, restaurants, competitions such as a baby show and Miss Carnival, stalls, and a beer garden.
On the Saturday there will be a car show attended by clubs like BMW Club, Extreme Veedubs, TRD owners club, Streetfreaks, Smart Trux and many individual entrants. Last year’s winner was Streatfreaks with a Mark 1 Golf.
Competitors take part in an open and standard class and compete for cash prizes in the sections best mags, best interior, best paint job, best sound system outlay, best tyres, best engine outlay and most stunning looker.
The entry fee for cars is R25 at least one week before the event or R35 on the day of the show.
