Cricket action at Drakenstein Games Club

ON 7 February the Groot Drakenstein Games Club will celebrate its 50th Six-a-Side cricket tournament. The participating teams from Western Province will be Fish Hoek Invitational, Cape Town Invitational, Claremont Invitational and the Friendly Cricketers Association Invitational. Participating teams from Boland will be Paarl East (current champions), Paarl Invitational, Stellenbosch Invitational and Groot Drakenstein Invitational. The Six-a-Side cricket tournament will kick off at 09:30. To celebrate, the club will have a function today at 18:30. Notable personalities who have graced this tournament, will be invited for the function, with the draw being made by a well-known cricket official.
