THE acclaimed All in One trio with Hilton Schilder, Steve Newman and Errol Dyers will perform at Solms-Delta on Saturday 13 February from 18:00.
All in One is a collaboration between three music masters with deep Cape heritage roots. Their magic sounds of Cape Jazz and Ghoema are food for the soul - a regional Cape sound with global appeal.
A respected pianist and composer, Schilder is accomplished in a diverse range of instruments such as the Khoi mouth-bow, guitar and melodica.
Newman, consummate instrumentalist, has a musical history few can equal. Dyers, acclaimed guitar maestro, is highly regarded as a pioneer of what is now acknowledged as Cape Jazz/Ghoema.
Their cultural roots are evident in their work that captures the essence of Cape vernacular music. If you wish to enjoy an evening with three music gurus – all in one – now is your chance!
Members of the local Delta Vastrap-Genootskap Set will bring the evening to a close with their own vibrant music and song.
The Saturday supper concerts will run until 27 February. The price of R150 (R65 for children) includes a ‘Kaapse kos’ buffet catering for all tastes.
