THE play, People are Living There, is a touching and passionate play by Athol Fugard that tells the extraordinary story of an ordinary woman as she reveals the sadness and frustration of her life.
The play can be seen at the Old Mill Theatre on 18 and 19 February at 20:00.
Millie, the feisty and volatile landlady of a sleazy boarding house, is dumped by her lover on her fiftieth birthday.
She is determined both to have her revenge and to celebrate even if it kills her, as she persuades her downbeat lodgers to join her for a birthday party that none of them will ever forget.
The cast includes Margot Wood (drama lecturer, director and actor), Dawie Fourie, Alicia Daniels and Shedrick Jacobs.
