THE Nick Turner Trio will play at the Solms-Delta Rural Cape Summer Sunset concert on 20 February from 18:00.
They take the place of the Cape Ghoema Entertainers who were previously scheduled to perform.
Turner, popular guitarist and vocalist of Sons of Trout and Mikanic fame, will bring his special brand of ghoema to the mix, with his distinctive and infectious guitar-style and vocals.
He will be joined on-stage by jazz sensation Schalk Joubert on bass and percussion wizard Neville Arnolds on drums.
Members of the local Delta Vastrap-Genootskap, the Soetstemme, Delta Langbroek band and Les Javan mix it up and bring the evening to a close with their vibrant music and song.
