THE internationally acclaimed tenor, Christoph Genz, will perform at the La Motte Estate in Franschhoek on Saturday 20 February at 19:00.
Genz has performed as lieder and oratorio singer in the most famous concert halls through-out Europe and America. His performance at La Motte will be a treat for all who attend. Genz received his first musical training as a member of the St.Thomas Boys’ Choir in Leipzig.
He appears regularly at prestigious festivals and has given recitals at the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Louvre in Paris, the Wigmore Hall in London and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. Genz and Schneider-Waterberg will be accompanied by Cornelia Herrmann on piano. Guests will be welcomed with a glass of La Motte wine upon arrival and after the performance a light finger dinner will be served.
