2010-02-25
THE Drakenstein Municipality’s Library Services will participate in a Book Show at Paarl Mall from 4 to 7 March (at the east entrance in front of Pick n Pay) to showcase their services during National Library Week. Shoppers will have the opportunity to complete membership application forms and a box will be provided for the return of long overdue and “lost” material. As in the previous years the library will be showcasing its services and activities to the public. Kids can enjoy fun activities like face painting, colouring, clowns and stories. Adults will be able to see and browse through book displays on subjects ranging from handcrafts and hobbies and history. A photo gallery will depict the library’s service to the community, activities and outreach programs from Simondium to Saron and from Ronwe to Hermon. * At Paarl library the author’s evening on 24 March with travel writer Mike Copeland will be an event not to be missed.
