Family fun planned

ON Nelson’s Creek near Paarl, family fun will be presented during the spring and summer months, including walking the estate with winemaker Jean van Rooyen.
The winemaker’s walk will take place weekly and commence at 09:00 on the first Saturday in October. It will take approximately two hours and include wine tasting at various vantage points where the different grape varietals are grown and will be discussed.
“We are also planning to have weekly food and wine courses and various other wine related activities for the grown ups.
“But it will not end there,” says Jean, “fun-filled activities will be provided for children of all ages.”
There are two large secluded dams for fishing, canoeing and bird watching and forest areas along the Creek that traverses the farm as well as two hills where activities such as archery, mountain biking and a host of other activities will be offered.
