Hotel GM leaves Paarl

AFTER 14 years at the helm of the Grande Roche Hotel in Paarl, general manager Horst Frehse has left for greener pastures.
He has accepted a six months’ consultancy for Singita Private Game Reserve near the Kruger National Park as GM for their five award-winning lodges (two of which or located on concessions within the park).
The lodges are also members of Relais & Chateaux, hence Frehse will remain the national delegate (chairman) of Relais & Chateaux Southern African & Indian Ocean.
Frehse’s service at Grande Roche ended abruptly on 24 June at the instance of the owner of the hotel. He is contesting his dismissal through the CCMA.
