THE Napier Winery near the Bain’s Kloof Pass in Wellington will kick-off proceedings for the Soccer World Cup with their annual Harvest Day on 6 March from 09:00.
Friends of Napier will be divided into various participating Soccer World Cup teams - these teams will compete against each other in grape picking and stomping, wine blending and goal kicking. There will also be a French breakfast, tractor rides, Italian snacks and South African lunch.
The cost is R300 per person (including all of the above activities, breakfast and lunch, a wine gift pack, wine, snacks and cold drinks and lots of prizes).
Kids are welcome, but booking is essential. The kids’ program includes a jumping castle, swimming, a treasure hunt, goal kicking and tractor rides. Cost will be R100 per child and includes all the kids’ activities, food and someone to take care of them.
