THE 3 Cellar Fusion (Bovlei, Wamakersvallei and Wellington) promises to take away the blues with beautiful sounds in the Wellington vineyards on Sunday.
On the landscaped terrace lawn of Kleinevalleij, guests can relax and enjoy a picnic meal, while being entertained by Cape Town’s best in both classic and blues music genres, creating a Sunday evening with flair.
To start off the two-part programme will be Camerata Tinta Barocca, performing Vivaldi in the Vineyards.
With the Cape’s finest string players as well as home-grown Wellington talent, Piet de Beer on lead violin, they will bedazzle you with baroque and four-seasons classical music. Founded in 2004 by Quentin Crida and with performances throughout Cape Town, their string notes will leave soothing sounds on the ear.
Guitarist Albert Frost will end off the evening rocking the Bacchus Blues. This guitar-man has shared stages with The Rolling Stones, R.E.M and Simple Minds. /p>
