THE 8th annual Jet Community Awards have opened for entries with more than R1 million in prize money up for grabs for local community heroes.
For the past seven years, the Jet Community Awards has been celebrating the extraordinary achievements of ordinary people working within impoverished communities from across South Africa and neighbouring countries. They reward those individuals or organisations who give selflessly of their time, energy and talents to build and empower families and vulnerable individuals at grass roots level.
