Business Express train to Cape Town

THE Boland Business Express which will operate between Huguenot (Paarl) and Cape Town from 1 April, is the second luxury business class train. Comprising six carriages, it seats 294 commuters and sports 18 work stations for on-board workaholics. The Business Express covers the distance in 70 minutes and stops at Paarl, Kraaifontein, Brackenfell, Mutual and Cape Town stations. A dedicated on-board cabin crew will ensure that passengers receive a complimentary coffee and newspaper. The train will also have on-board security. Due to anticipated demand only monthly tickets will be on offer. Ticket sales open on Monday 29 March. The monthly cost from Huguenot Station or Paarl is R900 with the train departing from Huguenot at 06:30 and leaving in the afternoon from Cape Town at 18:12. Weekly tickets are R320. Once a reference number has been issued, tickets must be purchased within 24 hours at the information office at Cape Town Station.
