A TOTAL of ninety wine cellars are participating in the newly launched web based South African Supérieur Wine Rating Index (SASWRI) on a regular basis.

The honours were taken by the Galpin Peak Pinot Noir from Bouchard Finlayson with a 97,5 rating, followed by La Motte’s Shiraz Viognier (97,2), Saronsberg’s Shiraz (96,8), Rijks Private Cellar’s Shiraz (96,8), Bouchard Finlayson’s Hannibal (96,7), Rijks Private Cellar’s Pinotage Reserve (96,5), Saronsberg’s Full Circle (96,3), Muldersbosch’s Barrel Fermented Chardonnay (96,3), Groot Constantia’s Gouverneurs Reserve (96,3) and Raka’s Biography Shiraz (96,2).
