A MAN was killed and another seriously injured by a knife-wielding man in Mbekweni over the weekend.

The incident occurred in Langabuya, when Mandile Fokwana (26) and Masibukela Madela (24) were involved in an argument.

Fokwana wanted to leave the house, but was stabbed in the chest at the front door.

When Fokwana’s brother, Anele (21), intervened, he was stabbed twice.

Mandile died on the scene and Anele was taken to Paarl Hospital.

Madela was later arrested by police at his Langabuya home.
