II was invited to participate in a fun walk in Mbekweni to bridge the divide between communities in this beautiful valley of ours.
We set off on a mere km stroll, and what a delightful, fun, friendly gathering it turned out to be: about 40 of us, winding our way through the streets, chatting, cracking jokes, past people peering from behind net curtains, children running to greet us still in pajamas and others waving to urge us on our way.
I am very glad I conquered my prejudice and accepted the invitation for this walk.
