Art event at school

THE New Beginnings School for Small Children in Van der Lingen Street, Paarl is busy raising funds to ensure the future of the educare centre.
They need to raise R80 000 over the next year, R25 000 of this within the next two months.
Their current fundraising project is an art exhibition where original works by a number of well-known and up-and-coming South African artists will be showcased and offered for sale.
You can view the art today (15:00 to 21:00), tomorrow (15:00 to 21:00) and Saturday (10:00 to 21:00).
On Friday and Saturday there will be fire dancing from 19:00.
Artists include amongst others Selwyn Pekeur, Jeffrey Appollis, Victoria du Toit, Jeanne Visser, Solomon Siko, Nannette Ranger, Marieke Kruger, Loraine Blumer, Sue Dall, Rozelle Barnes, Jenny Parsons, Hannah Perlotto, Shui Lyn, Ronel Romanis, Lisa del Lange, Tilly van Huysteen, Helga Hoveka, Marina Clift, Geta Finlayson, Rhafique Fortuin, Kervin Cupido, Herman Stipps, Frank Ross, Hannelie Knoessen and Marie Malherbe.
Entrance is free, donations at the door are appreciated.
