Nominate citizen of the year

THE closing date to nominate the Drakenstein resident for excellent service to the communitys has been extended until 29 April. The Citizens’ Excellence Awards will be presented in 11 categories in May this year. Members of the public within the Drakenstein area are invited to nominate people in the community for outstanding achievement in leadership, youth, human rights, sports, arts, women’s rights, business, sports legend, health matters and politics. Application forms are obtainable from all Drakenstein libraries and administrative offices as well as on www.drakenstein.gov.za. Nominations should consist of a covering letter with a justification from the nominator, as well as the nominee’s curriculum vitae and a letter of consent.
