* Langarm. Die Frank Pietersen Musieksentrum se volwasse koor hou ’n langarm-dans ter viering van die sentrum se 40ste bestaansjaar op 16 April in die Huguenot Gemeenskapssaal om 19:30. Kaartjies is R80 en sluit ’n vingerete in. Die musiek sal verskaf word deur die orkes Elginairs. Kaartjies is te koop by 021-872-2123/4.
* Saxophone. On Saturday La Motte will host the saxophone player, Hamman Schoonwinkel (17), in a concert at 19:00 at the estate outside Franschhoek. Entrance is R125. Book at the La Motte tasting venue or call Anegla on 021-876-8801.
* Perform. The Quarrymen (the Peninsula Male Voice Choir) will be performing at the Frank Pietersen Music Centre in Sanddrift Street, Paarl, on 16 April at 18:30. There will also be a cheese and wine function. Tickets are R50 from Paarl United Church, Auret Street, Paarl. Contact the church on 021-872-6341 (from 08:00 to 13:00).
* Exhibition. The opening of the exhibition Current Matters by well-known South African artists like Kevin Brand, David Brown, Jacques Dhont, Paula Louw, Susan Roux and many more will take place on 18 April at 11:00 at The Gallery at Grande Provence in Franschhoek.
