THE Mountain Shadows Sunset Experience with Laurinda Hofmeyr and Mikanic will take place on Sunday 18 April at 17:00 at Mountain Shadows Guest House and Wine Farm outside Paarl (gates open at 15:00).
This inaugural concert will launch the Mountain Shadows Sunset Experience in celebration of life, family, friends, food and wine.
Laurinda Hofmeyr is known in particular for her musical compositions of poems such as “Ek het ’n huise by die see”, “Kabouterliefde” and “Vir pepermossie”. Today Laurinda is an experienced artist in her own right.
Mikanic brings Mike Rennie and Nick Turner back to South Africa. Their three albums cross musical boundaries, establishing Mike and Nick’s characteristic sound, effortlessly spanning genres with influences ranging from rock, reggae and African to hip-hop and jazz.
