WITH reference to the article, “Car guard struggles after injury” 25 March 2010), I notice this guard is a temporary resident in South Africa since 2004. Can the government indicate why this person should still stay in South Africa if he has had no permanent job since 2004, is a burden to the current society, does not have private medical cover to pay for his medical cost, and will possibly not be able to work in future? I am concerned that our government’s immigration policy allows this burden to be placed upon the legal South African citizens and demand as South African citizen an immediate explanation from the government. Not just is this policy taking jobs of current South African citizens away, but also placing a further liability on the South African taxpayers. Against illegal immigrants
