PICNIC lovers shouldn’t miss the last full-moon picnic of the summer season at the Taalmonument on Paarl Mountain on Friday 30 April.
Full moon is on Tuesday, but the moon will be 92,8% full on Saturday, rising at 19:25. The picnic is two days after full moon, but the moon will still be 97,2% full.
The monument will be open until 22:00, with access control and safe parking. Entry is R12 per person (R5 for students and R2 for children).
No dogs or fires are allowed at the picnics and visitors are reminded to bring warm clothes and a torch.
