La Motte launches first bubbly

THE La Motte wine estate has launched its first Méthode Cap Classique. The 2007 La Motte Méthode Cap Classique Brut is a blend of Pinot Noir en Chardonnay grapes produced on the farm. The vineyards were certified organic in April 2009. Says winemaker Edmund Terblanche: “The nose has golden delicious apple fruit complemented by yeasty dough and biscuit aromas while the palate is lively, with a creamy balanced finish.”
