* Uitstalling. Die Kunsvereniging Stellenbosch, in samewerking met die Universiteitsmuseum, bied ’n interessante uitstalling aan met 11 kunstenaars wat in ’n verskeidenheid kunsmediums werk van 19 Mei tot 18 Junie in die US Kunsgalery in Dorpstraat onder die titel Impromptu. Uitstallers sluit in keramiekkunstenaars Clementina van der Walt, Hennie Meyer en Christina Bryer asook Anton Smit, beeldhouer van Gauteng en sy skilder-seun, Lionel asook Mila Posthumus Reyneke. Fotograwe is Nicole Palmer en haar seun Eric asook die bekende Stellenbosser Charles Biggs. Die grafiese kunstenaars is Chris Diedericks en Diane Victor.
* Kiddies. A children’s theatre production will be presented at Delvera Wine Farm near Klapmuts with Spectrum Productions every Sunday from 9 to 30 May at 11:00. On the program are Red Riding Hood and the Wolf (9 May), Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs (16 May), Jack and the Beanstalk (23 May) and Cinderella (30 May). Ticket prices are R40 and all performances are between 45 minutes and 55 minutes. Parents can enjoy a little light jazz with a glass of wine while the children watch the plays.
