Soccer flags an asset

I WANT to congratulate the Mayor of Drakenstein and her 2010 team for the effort that they have put in to ensure that we as the people from Drakenstein start to feel the spirit of the Soccer World Cup. When I drive around in my car in Paarl at the moment and see these flags with the 2010 “man” on it I get a very warm and fuzzy feeling inside of me. I get the feeling that even though we are not hosting a team in our area we will still be part of the games and I can say “I was there”. I do travel a lot and this is real world class with regards to the flags - it’s a clean design and really shows that we in Drakenstein are ready for the 2010 Soccer World Cup The mayor and her team got a lot of bad publicity during this period, but I am sure that with this effort to put up these beautiful flags we can give them a pat on the back. This is now really “working together to create a place of opportunity “ Great work and I am looking forward to watching all the games at the Paarl viewing area. JS
