THE Drakenstein Municipality is hosting a free viewing area at the Boland Cricket Stadium.

Spectators will be able to watch all the first round Bafana Bafana games (11, 16 and 22 June) and also the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final, free of charge (a total of eight viewing days) in tents on the pitch.

The viewing area will open from 13:00 until 22:00 on 11, 16 and 22 June and again on 2, 3, 6, 7 and 11 July. Refreshments will be on sale.

The viewing area has room for a huge number of spectators. There will also be sea­ting for approximately fifty guests in the VIP lounge area during matches.

Local schools can enter teams to participate in a five-a-side soccer tournament and will be able to meet prominent soccer ambassadors (contact Enid de Wet on 072-130-3140).
