ON 5 June 9 730 bridge players sat down simultaneously all over the world to play the same hands of bridge.
Even two members of the Boland Bridge Club took part. Boland Bridge Club is a small but enthusiastic club playing at all levels and very keen to attract new members.
Join them every Wednesday morning at 08:30 at the Boys’ High Clubhouse in Brug Street, Paarl.
There are currently members from Paarl, Franschhoek, Villiersdorp, Cape Town, Wellington and Welgemoed. The Acol, Goren, Club-Diamond and Standard American systems are all played.
Complimentary introductory and intermediate lessons are on offer and there is a CD “Learn to Play Bridge” available.
