Super Cycle series this Saturday in Agter Paarl

THE third event in the Drakenstein Super Cycle Series will be held this Saturday (26 June). The start of the race will be on the R44, about 700 metres before the Windmeul Café, on the Wellington side. The riders will ride in the direction of Stellenbosch from the start/finish line. Four groups will take part in Saturday’s event. Group 1 is the u.10 and u.14 riders which will start at 11:00 (10 laps). The u.16 riders will also start at 11:00 and must complete 14 laps. The open group (elite and junior riders) will start at 13:45 and must complete 25 laps. The veterans in group 4 start at 14:00 and must complete 18 laps. The circuit of 4,5 km is as follows: The start is on the R44 road. The riders will turn left towards Paarl passing the Windmeul Café on the left. They will follow the Paarl road for 2,6 km and turn left onto the Voor-Paardeberg road towards the R44. Reaching the R44 they will turn left (towards Stellenbosch) for 3,8 km towards the start/finish line.
