Wanted: nominations for office talent

THE Association for Office Professionals of South Africa is once again looking for South Africa’s finest office talent and is accepting nominations for the 28th annual South African National Office Professional of the Year Award. The winner will receive a cash prize of R10 000 (sponsored by Rexel) and an opportunity to attend South Africa’s most innovative new conference for office administrators, as well as a new office valued at R9000 (sponsored by Siyanqoba Seminars). Anyone is free to nominate themselves, a colleague or boss. All nominations need to be in before 30 July. The OPSA/Rexel SA National Office Professional of the Year Award offers a unique opportunity to reward hard work and professionalism. Office Professionals organise business travel, book conferences, schedule meetings, assist HR and provide essential back up to today’s captains of industry. In addition to all the professional requirements, high level and aspiring office professionals must have excellent communication skills, be diplomatic under fire, maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times, and above all be able to deliver results – a real asset to any organisation.
