THE swift reaction of the police in Mbekweni resulted in the recovery of stolen goods on the same day that they were stolen.

On Wednesday 30 June, the Mbekweni police were called to a house at 4331 Phola Park, following a burglary.

The police followed up on information, conducted a serach and recovered the stolen property (a Tedelex amplifier) in Silver Town.

“We encourage the community to lay criminal charges against offenders so that they can bearrested and not get away with crime,” said, Constable Lungi Mqakelana,
