THE Rockets will perform at Golden Valley’s Winners Action Bar in Worcester on Friday 9 July at 21:00.
The band is one of South Africa’s most sought-after R&B, pop and dance bands, both locally and abroad.
Over the past 12 years The Rockets have spent more than six months of each year performing outside of South Africa. International venues have included Australia, various countries in the Middle East, Seychelles, Morocco and other parts of Africa.
They have supported many international acts including Usher, Alicia Keys, P Diddy, Ronan Keating, Shayne Ward, Patrizio Buanne, Spice Girls, Luther Vandross, Eddy Grant, Billy Ocean, Wet Wet Wet, The Manhattans and The O’Jays.
They have enjoyed numerous successes in South Africa and have topped many local radio stations and official charts with hits like “Gimme A Break”, “Surrender”, “Pappa Please Come Back Home”, “Thank You, Thank You” and “African People”.
