THE EMG Yorkshire Cycling Club from Paarl cycled to Mbekweni on Saturday and hosted a development clinic at the Mbekweni Primary School to celebrate Mandela Day.

About 30 young pupils of the school attended this event and were taught about the basics of the wonderful sport of cycling.

Currently the club has nine young members from Mbekweni that have been part of the EMG Yorkshire cycling set up for the past two years.

After the clinic the youngsters cycled through the streets of Mbekweni with the EMG Yorkshire cyclists and were heartly welcomed by the residents of Mbekweni.

More of these clinics will be hosted by the club at different schools in Paarl and surrounding areas.
