YOUNG PEOPLES RFC is hosting its annual Sevens Tournament (sponsored by SR Radiators) on Friday 6 August at Dal Josaphat Stadium.

Eight of the top clubs in Paarl will participate in this tournament.

The current champion, Albions, will defend its crown at 18:30 against Lower Paarl, whereafter Paarl Rangers will take on Young Peoples.

Young Gardens will play Violets and Allandale’s opponent will be announced seeing that Vineyards had to withdraw from the tournament due to league responsibilties.

Part of this tournament lies in the ties of friendship which are forged on and off the field and Young Peoples RFC said they are confident that this tournament will provide many of these.

The teams will represent what is best for the tournament: good play, good spirit and good fun. The clubs who play in this tournament must play a hard, clean game and enjoy themselves for it is a privilege and an opportunity that will benefit all who experienced it. Come and witness this fun event.
