LUVO MANYONGA, a learner of Desmond Tutu Secondary School in Mbekweni, won a gold medal with a leap of 7,99 metres during the IAAF World Junior Championships held in Moncton, Canada, last week.
Luvo returns to Cape Town today at 16:30, and will be met at the airport by a delegation from his school, after which he will take part in a parade through Mbekweni tonight, in honour of his magnificent achievement.
