Super Cycle race takes place in Paarl

THE 4th event of the Drakenstein Super Cycle Road Series will be held on Saturday (31 July), starting at the Parys sports fields at the Paarl Rugby Club (Market Street). The circuit distance is approximately 12,3km long and will run in the direction of Franschhoek (R301), left on Lustigan Road, right on Denneboom Road (towards N1 off ramp), over the freeway bridge, left onto Langenhoven Avenue, past the Boland Cricket Stadium and back to the Parys fields. The event will consist of a fun ride (3 circuit laps, starts at 12:00 - entree fee is R20), Open race for elites, u.23’s and juniors (10 laps, starts at 13:30); Sub veterans and 40+ veterans (7 laps, starts at 13:35, u.16’s and ladies (7 laps, starts at 13:40) and u.10’s, u.12’s and u.14’s (4 laps, starts at 14:00.
