SA 10km Champs at Dal

FOR athletes and spectators interested in middle and long distance running, the Dal Josaphat Stadium in Paarl is the place to be on Saturday. The festival of middle and long distance running will start at 08:00 with the SA 10km Championships. The race will start at 08:00 for wheel chair athletes and 08:10 for all other athletes at the Dal Josaphat Stadium. With all the top runners in South Africa enrolled for the 2010 SA 10km Championships it is expected that the winner will finish the 10km race in a time of 28 minutes or faster. Please note that due to the 2010 SA 10km Championships earlier in the morning, the starting times for the cross country races have changed. The 2010 Boland Cross Country Championships will start at 10:45 and the cross country athletes will have more than enough time to see the fastest 10km athletes in South Africa running.
