BAIN’S Cape Mountain Whisky, produced at the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, recently made its debut in the international competitive arena and came back with an impressive list of awards.

In the space of just two weeks it received a gold and best-in-class at the 2010 International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) and a silver award at the 2010 International Spirits Competition, both held in the United Kingdom.

Bains is named after Andrew Geddes Bain the pioneering pass builder.
