THE La Motte winery’s Shiraz Experience will be held on Friday 27 August at 08:30. Top Shiraz wines from the Rhône Valley, California, Australia and South Africa will be tasted and discussed to ascertain global trends in Shiraz styles.
The presentation will run until 14:00, after which a light lunch will be served, with a selection of older La Motte Shiraz vintages from the La Motte vinoteque.
The event, under the guidance of La Motte cellar master Edmund Terblanche (chairman of the Shiraz Society of South Africa), is held on an annual basis and attended by representatives of the wine industry, such as wholesalers, retailers, wine producers and media.
During panel discussions, international Shiraz experts will share information, insights and global trends in respect of Shiraz with attendees.
