THE Cultivaria arts festival has launched a search for talented local performance artists and musicians.
The ten finalists in the Paarl’s Got Talent competition will share the stage with Idols finalist Brandon October during a variety concert on 24 September. Qualifying rounds will take place at the Strauss Hall from 10:00 on 24 September during this year’s festival. A panel of judges consisting of local celebrities and music experts will select finalists in three age categories, namely under 12, under 18 and older than 18 years, based on their performances on the day.
The finalists will showcase their talents and skills during the concert, which starts at 18:00. Brandon will host the finalé and top South African football freestyler Chris Njokwana will make a special guest appearance. Entry forms for Paarl’s Got Talent are available at the Cultivaria festival office or from Paarl Post in New Street (next to Virgin Active gym).
Tickets for the concert will be available at the door of the Strauss Hall at R10 per person.
