IN the world today people are always looking to invent new ways to change our problems, when the solution is already there. In working together we can surpass any challenge or obstacle in our way
We live our lives thinking that focusing on our own goals and our own lives will keep us from harm and make it less of an effort to continue with our daily lives.
What if you could, by donating a blanket, change the outcome of a person from being cold again? Or by donating money save a person from going hungry?
Or even spending time to build a relationship with the people that don’t know the meaning of the word “friend”. But these are not people I am talking about - these are animals.
Who of us can say we have never looked to an animal for any sign of relief, love or warmth? We look to them for Love, Protection and Comfort, what do they ask in return? The answer is nothing.
But sometimes, not always, we are so stuck on our own lives that we neglect the part of our family that truly keeps us human. Is it possible to make a difference?
Through working together we can make sure that our community changes for the better, we can help the amazing people of the Wellington SPCA, who dedicate their lives and time to caring and protecting those we looked to for so many things.
There is a group on Facebook called the Blanket March that is dedicated to the collection of blankets and donations from the community to help the animals at the Wellington SPCA.
A simple small donation from you can change the outcome for so many in need.
