* Dance. Paarl/Wellington Vollies present a snack dance in the Annunciation Hall in Paarl on Friday 17 September from 20:00 with the Unity Brass Band Tickets cost R70 (bring your own drinks and platter).
* Rotary. The Rotary Club of Paarl will be hosting an informal cheese and wine evening aimed at students and young professionals (between the ages of 18 and 30) who are interested in becoming involved in Rotary. The Rotaract club is aimed at this age group and strives to improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves. * Emo Adams. Die bekende sanger Emo Adams tree op 15 September om 19:00 op by die Paarl Polisiekollegesaal, ten bate van Laerskool Drakenstein. Kaartjies is teen R100 en R150 beskikbaar by die skool. Kontak Elise by 021-872-4975 vir navrae.
* Choir open evening. Have you found yourself singing in a choir, the shower, at the camp fire or in your car? Why not pop in at the Old Mill Theatre on Monday 13 September at 19:00 to meet the Paarl Choir members and the choir master at their open evening. Everyone is welcome. * Koor. Paulus Joubert Sekondêr vier vanjaar hul 45ste bestaansjaar en gaan dit in November met ’n kerkdiens afsluit. Alle belangstellendes wat tydens hierdie geleentheid deel wil wees van die koor wat tydens dié diens sal sing, word uitgenooi om elke Maandagaand om 19:30 saam te kom oefen. * Meeting. The annual general meeting of the Luthando Care Centre (a step-down facility at Sonstraal Hospital in Paarl) will be held on Tuesday 28 September at 18:00 at the centre in Joepat Street. The centre also serves as temporary home for patients who need home care, when their families go away on holiday or are temporarily unable to care for them.
