This week The Karate Kid, Furry Vengeance and Resident Evil can be seen (24 to 30 September) at Mini Max in Paarl.
* In The Karate Kid (10MV) with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son. In his new home, the boy embraces kung fu, taught to him by a master.
* In the movie Furry Vengeance (PG), in the Oregon wilderness, a real estate developer's new housing subdivision faces a unique group of protesters, local woodland creatures who don't want their homes disturbed.
* In Resident Evil (13V), while still out to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation, Alice joins a group of survivors who want to relocate to the mysterious, but supposedly unharmed safe haven known only as Arcadia.
