Residents receive diplomas

PROUD local residents recently received diplomas for completing labour intensive courses in infrastructure upgrading (construction of streets, kerbs and stormwater drainage).
They took part in the expanded public works programme in OR Square and New Rest funded by the Municipality and District Municipality. The training included theoretical classes and practical on-site experience with contractors. A total of 1520 metres of roads were constructed and upgraded.
